Gurgaon-headquartered QH Talbros Limited, a leading Auto Ancillary unit manufacturing Steering & Suspension Components, is looking to grow its business with truck and bus makers in Europe and the US. At IAA Transportation 2026, the Indian auto parts group drew interest from customers in both regions, with one product in particular catching attention – its cross-axis ball joint.
“There have been good enquiries, at least the first two days,” said Mr. Ravi Mohan, Sr Vice President, Business Development, Talbros. Some visitors were interested in parts the company already supplies, while others showed interest in new products.
The group makes gaskets, steering and suspension parts such as tie rods and ball joints, hot forgings and heat shields. Its customers include major global names such as Daimler, BMW, Volkswagen, Meritor and Iveco. In India, Mr. Mohan said, all truck makers, including DICV and Tata Motors, use its products.
The star of the stand was the cross-axis ball joint, used in vehicle suspensions. Explaining the difference, Mr. Mohan said a normal ball joint can move freely in one direction but is restricted on the other side. A cross-axis ball joint works like a ball that can move all around, giving the suspension far more flexibility. For drivers, that means more comfort, while the vehicle gains better manoeuvrability and stability.
The company also showed heavy-duty forgings that come fully machined and ready to fit. Its heat shields, which stop engine heat from reaching the cabin and other parts, have been part of its range for many years. Demand for them keeps growing as more vehicles need them to manage heat and reduce emissions.

The company operates six advanced manufacturing facilities with a combined annual capacity of more than 15 million assemblies and a portfolio of over 1,200 products. Its state-of-the-art plants, strong design and engineering expertise, advanced design software such as Unigraphics and CATIA, and modern test centres that check products against customer specifications allow it to meet high standards of quality and precision. Together, these strengths have helped the company become a leader in the domestic market.

The company supplies steering and suspension parts for almost every type of vehicle, serving vehicle makers in India and overseas. Its customers span passenger cars, utility vehicles, tractors, off-highway machines, and light and heavy commercial vehicles. On the steering side, its range includes tie rod ends, inner and outer ball joint assemblies, tie rod and connecting tie rod assemblies, and drag link assemblies, which together help translate the driver’s input at the steering wheel into precise movement of the wheels. For suspension, it offers ball joint assemblies, a range of suspension control arms and stabilizer links—parts that keep the vehicle steady, absorb road shocks and improve handling and ride comfort. This wide portfolio allows the company to act as a one-stop supplier for steering and suspension needs across vehicle segments.
