Synopsys Joins CII’s Dx-EDGE to Bring Engineering Simulation to MSMEs

Synopsys has joined the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Dx-EDGE initiative as a Technology Solution Provider to help India’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) adopt digital technologies. Dx-EDGE, short for Digital Excellence for Growth and Enterprise, is a national programme supported by the NITI Frontier Tech Hub and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Under the partnership, Synopsys will bring its Ansys portfolio of engineering simulation and computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools to MSMEs and technical institutions. It will offer expert-led sessions, hands-on demonstrations and training programmes, both online and in person. The company will also list its Ansys products and training modules on the Dx-EDGE platform.

Synopsys will work through Dx-EDGE’s network of Digital Transformation Facilitation Centres, where faculty and students partner with MSMEs on digital projects. Participating businesses can take a Digital Maturity Diagnostic to identify gaps, followed by a customised roadmap for adopting new technologies.

“Through our engagement with Dx-EDGE, MSMEs will gain greater access to engineering simulation through technology demonstrations, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and hands-on training,” said Mr. Murali Pullela, Country Head (Simulation & Analysis), Synopsys.

Mr. Ponnuswami M., Chairman, Dx-EDGE, CII, said the partnership will bring advanced simulation capabilities closer to MSMEs and technical institutions, helping them improve productivity and competitiveness.
