Mr. John Paul Bosco, Head Sales & Aftersales, Sunbeam, believes the country’s logistics landscape is steadily evolving from traditional transportation models to integrated cold chain networks capable of supporting milk-run operations and faster distribution. He pointed out that decentralisation of storage infrastructure from Tier I cities to emerging industrial and consumption centres such as Coimbatore and Pune will be one of the major trends shaping the industry through 2030.
Mr. Bosco also expects the growing adoption of electric vehicles, combined with temperature-controlled insulated container solutions, to play an important role in reducing environmental impact while improving cold chain efficiency. At the same time, government regulations mandating temperature-controlled transportation across food, pharmaceutical, agriculture and retail sectors, along with financial incentives for developing cold storage facilities, warehouses and reefer fleets, are expected to further strengthen the sector’s growth.
