Energy In Motion Limited (EIM Ltd), an integrated heavy electric mobility ecosystem company, has signed a strategic MoU with Oil Field Warehouse & Services Limited (OWS Ltd) and Radiance Green Mobility Private Limited for the deployment of 500 electric heavy commercial vehicles (e-HCVs) across key high-density freight corridors in India.
The proposed deployment will focus on three of India’s most cargo-intensive corridors — Mumbai–Pune, Mundra–Morbi–Ahmedabad, and Mumbai–Delhi. Immediate deployment will begin with 50 vehicles on the Mumbai–Pune corridor in October 2026, scaling up as EIM’s battery swapping network is completed across the identified corridors.
EIM Ltd will leverage its integrated electric mobility ecosystem — comprising electric heavy vehicles, battery swapping, charging, and energy infrastructure — while OWS Ltd and Radiance Green Mobility will contribute expertise in commercial fleet deployment and operations. EIM’s flagship Ashwa 55-tonne electric tractor, designed for high-utilisation freight operations and supported by a battery-swapping ecosystem for rapid turnaround, will anchor the deployment. EIM has also recently homologated a 350 kWh battery version of the Ashwa electric tractor, strengthening its product portfolio.

The collaboration aims to transition freight operations from diesel to electric mobility, with a focus on operational efficiency, lower emissions, improved energy-cost predictability, and enhanced fleet utilisation — in line with the Government of India’s broader push towards electric mobility.
