Almighty Auto Ancillary Looks to Expand Its European Footprint

Indian wiper systems maker Almighty Auto Ancillary, which sells its products under the ALMiTY brand, is looking to grow its business in Europe. At IAA Transportation 2026, its second appearance at the show, the company displayed its full range of wiper systems for commercial vehicles.

“We are an export-oriented company and most of our exports go to North America, with a small share to the UAE,” Mr. Gurmeet Singh Mago, Managing Director, Almighty Auto Ancillary, told this publication. The company already does some business in Europe and now wants to expand it, he said.

Almighty Auto makes wiper systems and machined components, with wipers taking centre stage on its stand. Its range covers almost every kind of commercial vehicle, from buses, trucks and light commercial vehicles to off-road construction equipment. Its wiper motors range from 12 Nm to 120 Nm, and its wiper blades from nine inches to 40 inches. The longest blades, about a metre long, are used on buses with large windscreens and in opposed wiper systems, sometimes called “butterfly” wipers.

The company works with customers in different ways, depending on the market. In India, it is a direct Tier 1 supplier to commercial vehicle makers such as Ashok Leyland, VECV, Tata Motors and Mahindra. In the US, it supplies as a Tier 2 through Tier 1 partners, but is approved directly by the vehicle makers. Europe follows a similar model. For a Daimler bus project, Almighty Auto has been approved by the vehicle maker and supplies the wiper motor to Valeo, which provides the rest of the system. As the company can make the entire wiper system, it is open to supplying complete systems, individual components such as arms and blades, or assemblies. It also serves the aftermarket, but mainly to provide service parts for vehicle makers it already works with, rather than as a core focus.

Australia is not yet a target market, though some Australian aftermarket buyers visited the stand to ask about it. Almighty Auto’s parts already reach the country indirectly, through a US customer that supplies Mack Trucks, a Volvo Group company, in Australia, he added.
