Seamless all set to meet soaring trailer market demand

Seamless Autotech Pvt. Ltd., a leader in car, bike and chassis carriers, is gearing up for expansion of its existing facility in Pune to cater to the growing demand for trailers from the sector as well as from the construction and infrastructure segment. “We had sold around 500 trailers (flat bed and side-wall) in the market in the last 2 years. However, we paid more attention to car and chassis carriers as FY15 and FY16 were car-carriers and chassis-carriers dominated the market. Now in FY17 we see a lot of demand for trailers,” said Mr. Jitender Singh Ahluwalia, Chairman and Managing Director, Seamless Autotech.

The automotive sector requirement is already being met by both the current units that Seamless has. “We have the capacity as well as process to deliver whatever the number comes. So now is the time to enter the trailer market in full swing. For this we are expanding our existing facilities. Our two products which we have already developed and marketed are tip-trailers and bulkers. Both these products as well as sidewall trailers and flat-bed trailers will be made at our existing facilities,” said Mr. Ahluwalia.

Referring to the company’s future expansion plan, he said that the third unit will come up in the next couple of months and the fourth unit by March 2017.

Seamless is aware that the achievement of the goals set would involve not only innovative products but also a seamless and systematic process. “We have a very clear work process and a technically sound team. With an efficient and systematic process, coupled with innovative design, we are geared up to meet the entire demand of customers,” signed off Mr. Ahluwalia.
