Mr. Harsha Kadam, Managing Director and CEO of Schaeffler India, said the achievement reflects the company’s commitment to quality, operational excellence, and customer trust. He added that being the first to secure the BIS licence for Cylindrical Roller Bearings under the new standard is a proud moment for the team, and demonstrates Schaeffler India’s readiness to meet the demands of a changing regulatory and industry landscape.

The licences are expected to reinforce customer confidence in Schaeffler India’s locally manufactured products across both automotive and industrial sectors, while contributing to the broader advancement of quality standards within India’s manufacturing ecosystem.
