Starting his new innings in the automotive components business, Munish Malhotra has assumed responsibility as President of Talbros Indiparts (P) Ltd. as of July 23, 2021. Talbros Indiparts is part of the Talbros Group, focused on providing quality repair and service parts for the entire spectrum of aftermarket mobility which covers two-wheelers, four-wheelers, commercial vehicles, tractors, heavy earth moving machinery and the industrial segment. Its product portfolio includes steering and suspension parts, engine gaskets, bushing kits, wiper blades, horns, dyna bond, oil seals and filters.
A motor biking enthusiast and an avid golfer, Malhotra was, in his earlier assignment, Vice President (Sales and Marketing) at Masu Brakes (P) Ltd. Prior to joining Talbros Indiparts, he has worked with QH Talbros, Federal-Mogul Corporation and Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. He has been an active member of the Consumer Affairs Committee of Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) that represents over 750 leading manufacturers of automotive components accounting for approximately 80% of the USD 40 billion (Rs 72,000 crore) industry.
A Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Poona, Malhotra has also done a Certificate course in Business Management & Strategy from Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies. Born in 1969, he has a technical and management background and was selected in his first few assignments on the shopfloor which later evolved to roles in Sales & Marketing and then Business Management.
