Michelin India has strengthened its retail presence in Rajasthan with the launch of a new Michelin Tyres & Services (MTS) store in Jodhpur in partnership with Sushil Tyres. Located on Chopasani Road, one of the city’s prime commercial areas, the new outlet aims to bring Michelin’s premium tyre solutions and vehicle care services closer to customers in the region.
Spread across 1,800 sq. ft., the facility offers Michelin’s complete range of premium passenger car tyres along with modern wheel alignment and wheel balancing services. The company said the store has been designed to deliver a premium and convenient customer experience for vehicle owners in and around Jodhpur.
Inaugurating the facility, Mr. Prashant Sharma, National Sales Director at Michelin India, said, Jodhpur represents an important market in the company’s regional growth strategy due to its rapidly evolving mobility ecosystem, expanding infrastructure and growing base of premium vehicle owners. He added that the launch of the new Michelin Tyres & Services store aligns with Michelin’s broader network expansion plans and its strategy to improve accessibility to premium tyre products and services in India.
He further noted that the expansion also supports Michelin’s plans to introduce Made-in-India passenger car tyres, reinforcing the company’s focus on delivering globally benchmarked products tailored for Indian customers.
Known as the ‘Blue City’ and one of Rajasthan’s major commercial hubs, Jodhpur has witnessed rapid growth driven by tourism, infrastructure development and rising demand for premium mobility solutions. Michelin believes the city presents strong opportunities for the expansion of premium automotive retail and aftermarket services.
