Mr. Ayush Lohia, CEO, Lohia Auto Industries

Sharing insights on expansion plans of Lohia Auto, Mr. Ayush Lohia, CEO of Lohia Auto Industries, said: “At present Lohia Auto Industries has made its mark in the Indian market. It has a pan-India presence with dealer network across India. Directly the brand is associated with 100+ dealers pan-India. Internationally, we plan to foray into South-East Asia and the neighboring countries to begin with, as these are emerging markets with a lot of potential. We have started with Nepal internationally and also launched a petrol vehicle for the first time.”

Lohia Auto has also successfully introduced Petrol Auto in Nepal and appointed a distributor there. For future expansion and a stronger foothold, the distributor appointed by Lohia Auto will further expand the dealer network in Nepal. Furthermore, as part of its first petrol 3-wheeler launch Lohia Auto has introduced passenger and cargo vehicles in the Nepalese market.

“The 3-wheeler output is estimated to be 2,500 units per annum. We plan to sell 600 units within the first year. To achieve this figure our aim is to appoint 10 dealers in Nepal in the next one year, as there is immense potential, and we have already kicked in and started well,” added Mr. Ayush Lohia.

Lohia Auto will soon be exporting to other countries in South-East Asia and neighboring countries as a part of its first phase of international expansion.
