At IAA Transportation 2026 Kässbohrer presented a total of ten next level vehicles for general cargo, bulk and liquid transport, intermodal and heavy haulage sectors including two launches and award-winning vehicles.

NEXT LEVEL DURABILITY & FUNCTIONALITY GENERAL CARGO & INTERMODAL VEHICLES AT IAA 2026
Kässbohrer’s Engineered for Perfection: Durability and Efficiency in Perfect Harmony – 2.500.000 KM Validated Next Generation Curtainsider, K.SCS NG X+, Europe’s Lightest Curtainsider Swap Body and K.SWAU CL, the Trailer Innovation Award-winning “Octagon-On” Middle-Rear Extendable Container Chassis, K.SHG.AVMH were showcased during IAA 2026.Kässbohrer’s Next Generation Curtainsider range delivers proven durability through extensive R&D validation equivalent to 2,500,000 km of operation for long life, enhanced stability and load distribution. The high strength steel chassis and KTL coating assures 10 years no rust perforation and long life. The range ensures loading efficiency and operational flexibility through the patented K-Fix system with 17,000 load-securing possibilities, the easy roof-lifting system, sliding pillars. Robust and durable under intense conditions, the Next Generation Curtainsiders are consistently dependable in huckepack and ferry operations.

A prime example of this engineering excellence, Kässbohrer presented Europe’s lightest Curtainsider Swap Body, K.SWAU CL from its award winning 45ft Swapbody range including 45ft Coil Swap body and 45 ft Mega Swap body. The K.SWAU CL delivers maximum payload efficiency with a tare weight of 3,900 kg, making it 24% lighter than Universal Swap Bodies. Its 34 Euro pallet capacity and forklift-resistant plywood floor with a 7.2-ton forklift axle-load capacity ensure efficient loading, while 24 vertical stainless-steel reinforcements integrated into the curtain eliminate the need for side rows and enable faster and easier loading and unloading.
Kässbohrer presented the new features of its Award Winning “Octagon-On” Front-Middle-Rear Extendable Container Chassis, K.SHG.AVMH at IAA 2026. Presenting dependably operating Octagon-on central beam, the multi-functional container chassis already accommodated all combinations of 20 ft to 45 ft HC, 13.60 m cargo boxes, 45ft swap bodies. Featured at IAA 2026 is the additional 20 ft tank container transport capacity within a 12-lock configuration. Validated through successful testing and equipped with a rear drip tray, it expands transport flexibility for intermodal operations. Another added feature is the ingenious foldable locking system for 2×20 ft container transport. The integrated design eliminates lock removal and storage requirements, enabling easier handling and more efficient operations.
With its Power of Engineering, Kässbohrer presents efficient vehicles meeting the unique sustainability transition of its customers. As a consortium partner of EU backed project of ZEFES (Zero Emissions flexible vehicle platforms with modular powertrains serving the long-haul Freight Eco System) Kässbohrer electrified its trailers with ZF Trailtrax e-axles for traction, designed and optimized the battery boxes and validated the e-axle and batter system equipped trailers robustness in its R&D centres and first and only trailer test track for real life equivalent of 285.000 km.
As part of the ZEFES projest, the successful mile stone is reached in May 2026 with Kässbohrer 40 ft fixed flat container chassis equipped with ZF- Trailtrax system completing the 10.000 km trial. Coupled with an e-truck, the Kässbohrer-ZF vehicle completed the trail without operational disruptions and without any significant technical issues, achieving a 50% longer range than with the e-truck alone. Together to the next 125 years, Kässbohrer will continue to invest its R&D competence and capability in developing and validating next level technologies with its expert stakeholders.
NEXT LEVEL TRACEBALE & HIGHEST PAYLOAD DANGEROUS GOODS VEHICLES AT IAA 2026
Proudly among Europe’s top 3 choice since 2021, Kässbohrer exhibited the Traceable and Secure Fuel Transport Fuel Oil Tanker, K.STB E 42, and Europe’s Highest Payload and Longer Product Life Chemical tanker, K. STC 37.5 at IAA 2026.
The exhibited 42 m3 Fuel Oil Tanker featured the advanced electronic monitoring systems including electronic dipstick, SPDS and geofencing systems, improving operational traceability, security and fleet management. K.STB E, provides flexibility for multi-product operations with its 42 m³ capacity and four-compartment configuration presenting tare weights starting from 4.950 kg for payload efficiency. To optimize fuel delivery operations, the vehicle can be equipped with various pumps, counter, hose reel and collector configurations from leading suppliers, adapted to different flow rates and customer requirements. K.STB E offers crossover prevention systems to eliminate product mixing risks between compartments, alongside ADR-compliant overfill protection and anti-theft solutions for safe and secure operations.

Another prime example of Next Level Efficiency is Europe’s Highest Payload Capacity Chemical Tanker K. STC 37.5. The show vehicle at IAA 2026 featured the new-generation I-profile stainless-steel chassis with modular chassis architecture. Combining structural durability, improved bending resistance, driving stability and corrosion resistance, the new chassis design delivers long-term reliability, easier maintenance and simplified service operations. K. STC 37.5 ensures safe and efficient transportation of temperature-sensitive chemical products with its 100 mm insulated tank body and steam and hot-water heating system.
NEXT LEVEL HIGHEST PAYLOAD AND ELECTRIC BULK VEHICLES AT IAA 2026
Proudly among Europe’s top 3 choice since 2021, Kässbohrer has the highest payload capacity tipping and non-tipping silo range in Europe. At IAA 2026, Kässbohrer showcased Europe’s highest capacity 60m3 tipping silo K.SSK 60 and proudly launched Europe’s First and Only Zero Emission Cement Silo K.SSL 33 E. A prime example of this engineering excellence, exhibited at IAA 2026 is Europe’s lightest 60 m³ Tipping Silo, K.SSK 60, delivering maximum payload efficiency with a tare weight starting from approximately 6,000 kg. Its optimized flow geometry, smooth aluminum inner surface and stainless-steel discharge system ensure continuous material flow, while the five-stage hydraulic tipping system, controlled pressure and aeration systems enable efficient unloading. Five manholes and pneumatic filling equipment further provide flexibility across different bulk operations. At IAA 2026, Kässbohrer proudly launched Europe’s first and only e-truck compatible 33 m3 non-tipping silo featuring onboard e-compressor for full zero emission operations, meeting the sustainability transition needs of the bulk transporters.Kässbohrer’s electrified 33 m3 non-tipping silo K.SSL 33 E, balances electrification with operational efficiency. To achieve compatibility with e-trucks, K.SSL 33 E’s weight distribution has been engineered for safe accommodation of the extra weight from the battery of the e-trucks as well as regulation compliance. To compensate for the extra weight of the e-truck, the vehicle’s weight is reduced to 3.800 kg. The e-compressor for zero emission discharge has been integrated on the side without affecting its compact length of 7.650 mm hence preserving its operational capability on constrained sites. The result of Kässbohrer’s engineering excellence and customer centric ingenuity, the Zero Emission Cement Silo yields 44% loss payload recovery when couple with e-trucks and 3% payload advantages when coupled with diesel trucks.

Ranked among Europe’s top two preferred low-bed manufacturers since 2021, Kässbohrer showcased its in-house-developed 2 axle Pendle Low loader K.SSL P and proudly launched its new Hydraulic 3 axle fixed low-bed with hydraulic gooseneck K.SLH S HS 3 delivering Top safety, top ease of use, top protection for longest life in transport of most flexible work machines at IAA 2026. The prime example of Kässbohrer’s construction expertise, the High Payload Capacity, Ideal Load Distribution and Fast Unloading 3-Axle Steel Tipper, K.SKS B 27 with its new features accompanied its pioneering heavy haulage vehicles at the show. On show, Kässbohrer presented its April 2026 launch in-house-developed 2-axle Pendle Low Loader, K.SLL P, delivering peak maneuverability and effortless handling through its independent pendle suspension and patented progressive hydraulic steering system, operating in compliance with Ackermann principles for all degrees from 0° to 60°. Validated for 1,000,000 km of normal use, K.SLL P offers Europe’s highest suspension stroke of 600 mm, with Europe’s highest capacity and number of lashing rings for maximum load safety. Its 350 mm loading height and detachable gooseneck, removable in less than 50 seconds, enables flexible and efficient loading. Kässbohrer’s proud new addition to its pioneering heavy haulage range is the new Hydraulic 3 axle fixed low-bed with hydraulic gooseneck K.SLH S HS 3 delivering Top safety, top ease of use, top protection for longest life in transport of most flexible work machines. Starting from 11.000 kg tare weight, manufactured with S700 MC steel, coated with Europe’s corrosion prevention champion 3.800 hours salt spray testing with no red rust K. SLH S H3 presents long vehicle life. With its three hydraulically steered axles with up to 42° steering and easy to use patented auto-alignment system, the K.SLH S HS 3 achieves smooth maneuverability. K.SLH S HS 3 features Europe’s highest capacity and number of lashings rings as standard with DIN EN 12640 compliant 44 total rings from 5–10-ton capacity. With 4 container locks for 1x20ft, 8×2 pillar pockets including patented lashing rings on pillar pockets rows feature as well as 11 x2 galvanized lateral extension brackets for machines up to 3.150 mm width as standard Kässbohrer hydraulic steering 3-axle non-extendable lowbed with hydraulic gooseneck ramp presents Europe’s top safety, loading flexibility and ease. With its IP 69 compliant electric systems as well as hydraulic systems with automatic lubrication for constant maintenance, K.SLH S HS 3 presents top quality in hydraulic vehicle range. For user friendliness, the single remote-control interface operates both hydraulic steering and gooseneck ramp, enabling precise positioning, faster loading and maximum control in confined work areas. The Hydraulic 3 axle fixed low-bed with hydraulic gooseneck K.SLH S HS 3 on show also featured International Trailer Award 2027 Winner, Modular Floor System, enabling quick change of the whole or partial floor change from steel grid to hardwood to rubber in less than 3 man hours increasing the single low-bed utilization by 29%.
Presented at IAA 2026, Kässbohrer’s 3-axle Steel Tipper, K.SKS B 27, delivers high payload capacity with a tare weight starting from 5,350 kg, while its 12,000 kg king-pin capacity, low center of gravity and optimized upper structure ensure ideal load distribution and maximum traction performance. Its half-pipe body design enables fast and residue-free unloading, and its five-stage high-capacity hydraulic cylinder improves unloading precision and efficiency. Engineered for coupling with 4×2, 6×2 and 6×4 trucks, K.SKS B ensures stable and safe unloading through its Unloading Level, Safety Brake, Tilt Alert and one-touch paving brake systems.
The exhibited 27 m3 3 axle Steel Tipper featured the self-steering axle; the new option added to Kässbohrer’s 3 axle tipper range for increased maneuverability in construction and restricted sites. The exhibited vehicle featured another option standardized across Kässbohrer’s 3 axle tipper range, the automatic foldable bumper operated by a remote control for faster unloading operational preparation.
