J.K. Fenner (India) Limited, a manufacturer of automotive and industrial engineering solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Yamada Manufacturing Co., Ltd. of Japan to develop and manufacture advanced automotive components for Indian and global markets.
Founded in 1946, Yamada Manufacturing makes oil pumps, water pumps, steering columns, drivetrain components and other precision automotive systems for leading global carmakers.
The partnership brings together JK Fenner’s manufacturing strength, engineering expertise and customer reach with Yamada’s Japanese technology and product development skills. The two companies aim to speed up innovation, improve product quality and meet the changing needs of carmakers, including for next-generation mobility.
Under the arrangement, Yamada will transfer technology for advanced component manufacturing, and the two companies will jointly develop products that meet global quality and performance standards. They will also localise advanced products for the Indian market and work together to improve manufacturing processes, quality systems and engineering capabilities.
For Yamada, the partnership is also a route to faster entry and growth in the Indian market.
