GP Petroleums Limited (GPPL) has appointed Mr. Arjun Verma as Managing Director, effective 27 October 2026. Verma, who has been Executive Director, will lead the company and its business verticals. His mandate is to strengthen the core businesses and evaluate expansion in India and overseas, including strategic investments and acquisitions, with an emphasis on disciplined capital allocation, profitable growth and sustainable cash flows.
Mr. Verma is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years of experience. The company says he has played a central role in shaping GPPL’s financial strategy and supporting its governance and business initiatives.
“Mr Verma has a thorough understanding of our business and brings the financial discipline needed to convert growth into stronger cash flows and returns,” said Mr. Ayush Goel, Executive Chairman (Whole-Time Director). Verma said his focus would be to build on GPPL’s strong foundation with growth that is “profitable and well governed”.
The appointment follows the company’s second-quarter results for FY2026–27, announced last week. GPPL reported a profit after tax of ₹15.3 crore, up 179% from ₹5.5 crore a year earlier, and revenue of ₹340.8 crore, up 124% from ₹152.4 crore.
