Power management company Eaton announced that it has entered EMEA’s aftermarket with a new 430 mm diaphragm spring clutch product line covering a wide range of truck applications. These are designed to meet the needs of the most popular heavy duty truck manufacturers throughout the region. The product will be manufactured in the Tczew, Poland facility using state-of-the-art energy-saving manufacturing technology and will combine original equipment (OE) quality with competitive pricing.

The 430 mm product line features 31 pull-type and two push-type aftermarket clutches, and provides distributors, retailers and fleet managers an alternative channel for high-quality replacement parts that feature high thermal properties and improved wear resistance.

To market the new aftermarket 430mm clutch line, Eaton is leveraging its Independent aftermarket channels in Western and Eastern Europe, Russia, the Middle East, South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa.  Eaton recently signed three new agreements with Independent aftermarket distributors — Intertruck in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Eastern sub-Sahara Africa, The Arabian Auto Agency in Saudi Arabia, and Transportation Components for the South African market.

“The new clutch line presents the first Eaton-branded clutch aftermarket product in the EMEA region. It is manufactured using the same assembly equipment, tooling and testing facilities as our OE product,” said Eric Zahrai, commercial director, Truck and Aftermarket EMEA, Eaton. “As a global OE supplier with more than 100 years of experience manufacturing commercial vehicle technology, we now offer the market a high-quality replacement part family based on robust and proven technology that covers nearly 80 percent of EMEA’s heavy duty market.”

The 430mm clutches are made of 100 percent new components and built to OEM quality and durability standards to ensure outstanding performance and maximum clutch life. The products feature proven technology with a high-strength stamped steel bracket, robust diaphragm design, and premium organic driven disc facings, which provide smooth engagement while maintaining a high thermal resistance.
