ATS ELGI launches new range of equipment for CV segment

Commercial vehicle (CV) services are going through a complete change and are getting modernized to hi-tech levels in India, more so with the arrival of BS-VI engines and multi-axle vehicles. With state-of-the-art engines, scanners are needed to understand the engine health and with improved road conditions, it is very important to keep the wheels aligned and tyres fully balanced to get the best millage out of the tyres. Washing Equipment – Automatic Bus Washer

ATS ELGI has introduced for the first time a 3-Brush Automatic Bus Washer. Bus cleaning is a complex phenomenon and requires a lot of efforts, plenty of water and is time consuming. With the introduction of the 3-Brush system, the company is offering customers a solution which will consume only 100 to 250 litres of water depending on the size of the bus and only one person to operate the whole system. The solution can be made more eco-friendly if packaged with a water recycling plant, thereby ensuring zero discharge of effluents into the environment.

Wheel Service Equipment – ATS ELGI EAGLE 4i

ATS ElGI’s new EAGLE 4i is India’s first 4 & 5 camera chassis-based 3D wheel alignment system that delivers very short cycle time, forward run out and highly accurate alignment results since the measurement is done with the chassis as the reference. With the equipment, wheel alignment of CVs can be measured using the latest 3D technology with no electronics on wheels, and instead using only chequered target plates which are easy to mount. It takes less than 3 minutes to measure up to 4 axles simultaneously and subsequent axles till 16 meters can be measured by swapping the target plates. The ATS ELGI EAGLE 4i helps towards direct and indirect benefits such as less maintenance, manpower savings compared to conventional type wheel alignment and faster ROI as the time taken to perform the wheel alignment is much faster and a lot more efficient.

Lifting Equipment – Mobile Column Lift

ATS ELGI’s mobile column lift comes with an expandable 4 or 6 column configurations and can accommodate light-duty passenger vehicles and heavy-duty trucks up to a maximum capacity of 45 tons. It gives flexibility, increases productivity and is easy to use both indoors and outdoors. The electro-hydraulic system provides safe and high accurate real time control with the control mechanism of the column lifts guaranteeing absolute synchronization of all lifting units, even with uneven load distribution.
