Apollo Tyres Ltd. launched its 25 inch range with 14 tyres for three key applications – underground mining, ports and wheel loaders at the show.
The foray into the 25-inch segment will expand the already extensive industrial and earthmover range of Apollo tyres and cater to an even larger set of applications and geographies. Of the 14 products, four are for the underground mining segment for use on LHD and shuttle cars, three products for use on reach stackers and RTG cranes and seven products for wheel loaders for a host of applications. The tyres are being introduced in multiple cities across India and will be soon launched in overseas markets too.
Developed by the company’s global R&D centres in Chennai and tested in world-class facilities, the range focuses on delivering three main aspects to the users – superior performance for non-stop operation, long life for best return on investment and superior design to offer highest reliability.
Further, the tyres boast of many unique, industry-first features catering to industry-specific requirements – unique pattern design to withstand the heavy duty shuttle car operations in underground mines, a new pattern designed to offer a cooler running for the reach stackers and RTG cranes and a superior design and compound to reduce chances of stone entrapment between lugs and preventing cuts and abrasions during rough use for the wheel loaders segment.
