Alok Sharman has been appointed as Senior Director of the joint venture between Raj Petro Specialities Pvt. Ltd. and Brenntag Group of Germany. A veteran in the lubricant industry, Sharman has over 30 years of corporate experience with US Fortune 500 MNCs including Valvoline Cummins and top Indian conglomerates such as Tata Group, Reliance Group and Deepak Nitrite.
His previous positions include Global CEO & Board Director of York, a former Tata Group company based in Singapore (2015-2018), Director – Asia of Valvoline based in Thailand (2010-2014), President Director at Valvoline in Brazil (2006-2009) and prior to that, Vice President – Sales & Marketing at Valvoline Cummins in India.
Sharman comes with abundance of experience in both B2B and B2C segments across OEM, distributor and aftermarket levels having worked in the fields of automotive components, lubricants-diesel / motorcycle / passenger car / industrial and chemicals & plastic industry.
