Continuing its focused push in the East, the company has further reinforced its service network with the inauguration of a new facility in Jamshedpur, following its earlier expansion in Jharsuguda.
The new service station, Rishav Automobile, was officially inaugurated on 1 April 2026. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Gautam Dutta, Owner of Rishav Automobile; Mr. Gurumukh Singh, Managing Director; and Mr. Bikash Pahadi, Chief Finance Officer, along with members of the York team, marking the beginning of an enhanced service presence in the region.
Jamshedpur, known for its strong industrial and logistics activity, presents a strategic opportunity for York to stay closer to its customers. With a growing base of trailers and fleet operators in the region, faster service access is no longer a convenience but a necessity.
The Rishav Automobile facility is equipped to handle a wide range of service requirements, including axle and suspension maintenance, supported by trained technicians and ready availability of critical spares. The clear focus is on reducing turnaround time and ensuring vehicles are back on the road with minimal delay.
Speaking on the development, York’s leadership highlighted that expanding the service network aligns with the company’s broader objective of maximising fleet uptime and building long-term customer confidence.
