New York Authorised Service Station at Ranoli enhances aftersales support for customers across Gujarat
York India has strengthened its customer service network with the inauguration of the new Deccan Vehicle Workshop, a York Authorised Service Station (YASS), at Ranoli GIDC, Vadodara, on August 10, 2026. Strategically located on the NH48 Ahmedabad-Vadodara Highway, the facility is designed to provide comprehensive and faster service support to York customers across Gujarat.

The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Gurumukh Singh, Managing Director, York India, in the presence of Mr. B Kalaikumaran, Head – Service & Spare Parts, York India; Mr. Sachin Punekar and Mr. R. S. Patil, Directors, Deccan Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., along with York and Deccan sales and service teams, fleet owners and trailer fabricators.
Strengthening Customer Support
Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Gurumukh Singh highlighted York’s 17-year association with Deccan Vehicles and the company’s focus on expanding its service network across India.
“York and Deccan’s partnership is now 17 years old. Deccan Vehicles was our first dealer in India and started an exclusive trailer repair facility at Vadodara in 2010. From that small facility, Deccan has now developed this state-of-the-art workshop, where we will provide complete trailer repair and maintenance services to our customers.”
He added that York’s priority is to maximise trailer uptime while reducing customers’ total cost of ownership. “At York, we are committed to maximum trailer uptime and the lowest possible total cost of ownership. We aim to support the Indian logistics and transport industry with best-in-class products and service support.”

The new facility features a covered service section with four concrete bays, each 50 feet long, allowing multiple vehicles to be serviced efficiently. It is equipped with an electronic wheel alignment machine, hydraulic tools for bush replacement, a dedicated washing bay and a mobile service van for onsite support.
One-Stop Service Facility
The workshop also features a 1,000 sq. ft. spare parts area and dedicated product display section, improving the availability of genuine parts and product visibility. Factory-trained technicians further support faster diagnosis and repairs.
Mr. Sachin Punekar, Director, Deccan Vehicles, said the new workshop reflects the company’s 30-year journey and its commitment to providing comprehensive support. “From one office in 1996, Deccan Group has grown to 32 sales and service outlets across Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Karnataka. This new facility reflects our commitment to providing dependable sales and service support under one roof.”
The workshop will cater to trailers, bulkers, tip trailers, tipping tankers and flatbed trailers. More than 100 fleet owners, fabricators and members of the York and Deccan teams attended the inauguration, with discussions focusing on current industry challenges and evolving customer requirements.
The new facility further strengthens York India’s service footprint, with a clear focus on better service, faster support and greater customer satisfaction.
