TÜV Rheinland India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Germany-based TÜV Rheinland Group, has announced the appointment of Mr. Thomas Fuhrmann as its CEO & Managing Director. In his new position, Mr. Thomas Fuhrmann will lead the management team in consolidating the current operations of TUV Rheinland and oversee its speedy growth and expansion in the Indian market.
Mr. Fuhrmann brings with him more than three decades of rich and diverse international experience in the energy efficiency industry as well as from the manufacturing industry. In his earlier assignments, he has served in various senior managerial and top leadership roles not only in the TÜV Rheinland Group but also in other companies spread across boundaries.
Mr. Fuhrmann has been associated with the TÜV Rheinland Group for the past 18 years. Prior to taking over his new assignment, he was based in China, where he had been serving as the Director – Industrial Services of TÜV Rheinland Group, Greater China and Asia Pacific.
