Strong Indian contingent at Automechanika Dubai 2021

Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), the apex body representing India’s Auto Component manufacturing industry has organised a group participation of its members at the 18th edition of Automechanika Dubai 2021. The leading aftermarket trade show of the wider Middle-East region is being held from December 14 until 16, 2021 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Being one of the largest dedicated automotive aftermarket trade fairs, happening in the backdrop of market recovery from the pandemic, the 18th edition of Automechanika Dubai has participants from over 57 countries, including 15 national pavilions. The Indian Pavilion has 40 exhibitors of which 20 are ACMA member companies and an equal number are from Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC). The Indian exhibitors are showcasing their latest and best aftermarket products, technologies and capabilities.

Commenting on ACMA’s participation at the Automechanika Dubai, Mr. Vinnie Mehta, Director General, ACMA said “We are thrilled to be a part of one of the most significant automotive trade shows in United Arab Emirates. According to a recent Frost & Sullivan study, the cumulative retail
revenue of parts in the GCC was estimated at $5.26 billion in 2020 and $5.47 billion in 2021. This is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.8% to $6.84 billion in 2025. This depicts a huge upside opportunity for the Indian aftermarket component manufacturers to export to the Middle-East.”

The key exhibitors from ACMA at Automechanika Dubai 2021 include Anand Exports, Esteem Auto, JK Fenner, Lumax Auto Technologies, Spark Minda, Sona Mandhira, Vinko Auto Industries, Jalex Tuboflex, Varroc Engineering and Steelbird International among others.
