Haldex appears at this leading international trade fair for equipment, parts and accessories with a key focus on its new complementary brands, Grau and Reman.
Visitors to the stand can see Haldex components such as the S-ABA automatic brake adjuster – number one globally with over 80 million units produced – or the EB+ Gen3 electronic braking system with extra connections and expanded functionality. Rounding off the Haldex display will be spare parts for the ModulT disc brake and air drier cartridges (HFC and MTC+).
New complementary brands: Grau and Reman
As a trade fair premiere, Haldex also presents its new complementary brands, Grau and Reman, in Frankfurt. The name Grau is reminiscent of Graubremse, a Heidelberg company that as part of Midland-Grau merged with Haldex toward the end of the 1990s. Reman, in turn, stands for remanufactured parts.
Göran Jarl, head of aftermarket at Haldex, is excited about the company’s participation in Automechanika. ‘As ever, the Grau brand has a very good reputation in Europe, one that we are able to rely on only a few months after its return to the market. It resonates with customers, and the concept has been very well-received. The first public presentation is at Automechanika’.
The Automechanika premiere also includes Reman whose remanufactured compressors have been supplied only to test customers so far. ‘But feedback on this, too, has been very positive. We are now making plans for more components’, says Göran Jarl. The complementary brand programme offering will be expanded gradually. Reman is starting with the aforementioned compressors and Grau with air tanks, air hoses, push-in fittings, fittings, brake cylinders and disc brake pads. Haldex will present a selection from the Grau product range as well as a compressor from Reman.
Grau, a brand that is being revived, represents robust engineering and solid performance at an attractive price. The product range, from compressed air tanks to push-in fittings, is being expanded continuously and has also been carefully tested and completely satisfies Haldex’s high quality standards. And, of course, there is a full guarantee.
Another product line available to customers in Europe is Reman, which, like Grau, is eminently cost-effective. But unlike Grau, Reman’s focus is reconditioned and, therefore, more sustainable products that are especially attractive to customers focused on price. The product line also meets Haldex’s high quality standards: Each part has been carefully reconditioned and thoroughly tested. Haldex has pursued this strategy in the United States for years with the LIKE-NU brand, which offers a wide range of reconditioned products from more than 40 manufacturers.
Standards are high: Automated processes, machine reconditioning and a thorough final inspection ensure that Reman parts are no different from new products when it comes to functionality. The Reman launch will be spearheaded by compressors.
Grau and Reman products will be the first choice of value-conscious customers who want proven quality at great prices. Demand for older vehicles is rising. With Grau and Reman, Haldex is ready to serve this growing segment with a range of price-performance options.
New e-commerce platform
As an Automechanika exclusive, Haldex also introduces its new e-commerce platform, which can be accessed at www.haldex.com. The platform will enable Haldex Select partners to order products from the Findex Catalogue online or to retrieve and modify or renew previous orders. After selecting the desired mode of delivery, the parts are on their way.
Moreover, the Findex catalogue has been completely revised. Findex offers quick and easy access to all Haldex components, from ABS systems to accessories. Likewise, products from Grau and Reman are now included in the database. Product information includes not only prices but also documents, brochures and installation instructions in a number of languages.
