SML Isuzu all set to roll out BS-VI vehicles

At SML Isuzu, the latest technology and its ingenious use to delight its end customers has always been the driving core philosophy while introducing any new product in the market. With the same ideology, SML has thoroughly and scrupulously prepared itself for the upcoming major transition in the industry, where every OEM has to comply with BS-VI Emission Norms from 1st April 2020 onwards.

With more than three years of dedicated efforts, the BS-VI technology is indigenously developed in-house with the help of Fuel Injection Equipment & Calibrations Support, EGT and other suppliers. SML’s BS-VI engines are reliable as always and cost-competitive for its new age proactive customers. The new BS-VI norms will not only upgrade its entire range of trucks (LCVs & MCVs 5 to 13 Ton) and buses (12 to 60 seats, for School, Staff, Tourist and Luxury Travel applications) but will also provide SML with addressing to a wide range of special applications vehicles.

iCAT, one of the prestigious agencies for homologation and vehicle testing, has issued BS-VI compliance certification for all SML Isuzu Diesel Trucks and Bus range. Since BS-VI norms are strict in terms of emissions into the environment and is a complex technology, making the technology much simpler, multiple times extensive testing that have been done indigenously, which has given the manufacturer enough confidence that its product will be far superior, trust-worthy and fuel-efficient and would be widely accepted and liked by its valued customers.
