New Facility to Accelerate Economic Growth in Gujarat
Safexpress, India’s leading supply chain and logistics company, has inaugurated its state-of-the-art Logistics Park in Vapi, Gujarat. Strategically located near NH-48 in Valsad district, the new facility marks a significant step towards strengthening the region’s logistics infrastructure. Senior dignitaries from Safexpress attended the inauguration ceremony.
Spread across 3.50 lakh square feet, the Vapi Logistics Park is equipped with advanced transshipment and third-party logistics (3PL) capabilities. The facility is designed to meet the growing warehousing and distribution requirements of businesses across the region, enabling faster, more efficient and reliable supply chain operations.
The modern cross-dock infrastructure facilitates the simultaneous loading and unloading of over 116 vehicles, significantly enhancing operational efficiency. The facility also features a column-free span of more than 105 feet, allowing the seamless movement of goods, while 16-foot-wide cantilever sheds ensure uninterrupted, all-weather loading and unloading operations.
Vapi is one of Gujarat’s prominent industrial hubs, with a strong presence in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, packaging, paper, plastics and engineering. Its well-developed industrial ecosystem, supported by the Vapi Industrial Estate and proximity to major markets, makes it an important manufacturing and distribution centre.
