For Mr. S. Narayanan, popularly known as SN, Executive Director of Madras Auto Service of the TVS Group, automobile trade is always his first priority. The 88-year-old industrialist, with his ‘golden touch’, has inaugurated several automobile spareparts shops across India, and all of them are faring extremely well.
As a workaholic, Mr. Narayanan has been regularly visiting the automobile aftermarket in different parts of the country in order not to get business for his company but purely to fully understand the customers’ needs and offer immediate solutions to them.
His advanced age notwithstanding, Mr. Narayanan recently hosted a dinner in Chennai purely to renew his association with the automobile spare parts dealer fraternity. Though it was an informal get-together, dealers from all over south India turned out in large numbers to receive his blessings.
