Prawaas 5.0, India’s biggest exhibition on public transport, opened at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, bringing together the country’s leading passenger transport manufacturers, technology providers, mobility companies, and bus and car operators under one roof.

Organised by the Bus & Car Operators Confederation of India (BOCI), this landmark edition assumes added significance as the Confederation celebrates a decade of dedicated service to India’s passenger transport industry. The event is hosted by the Akhil Gujarat Pravasi Vahan Sanchalak Mahamandal, co-hosted by the Gujarat Luxury Cab Owners Association and the Gujarat Tourist Vehicles Operators Association, and curated by MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications.
Held under the theme, Towards Safe, Smart & Sustainable Passenger Mobility, Prawaas 5.0 reinforces BOCI’s vision of Steering the Nation Towards Viksit Bharat by bringing together the people, technologies and partnerships shaping the future of passenger transport.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Smt. Miraben Patel, Hon’ble Mayor of Gandhinagar, in the presence of Shri Kaushik Jain, Hon’ble MLA, Dariapur, Gujarat, who attended as the Guest of Honour. The inauguration marked the beginning of three days of innovation, product showcases, business engagement and industry collaboration.
Recognised as India’s biggest exhibition on public transport, Prawaas 5.0 presents one of the country’s most comprehensive showcases of the passenger transport ecosystem. The exhibition spans the entire value chain, featuring OEMs, EVs, components, systems and accessories, energy storage and charging solutions, smart mobility and fleet management, aggregators, technology and digital solutions, alternative fuels and lubricants, and start-ups and innovation, providing visitors with an end-to-end view of the latest products, technologies and services transforming public mobility.
This year’s edition features one of the strongest exhibitor line-ups in the history of Prawaas, with leading organisations including Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, VE Commercial Vehicles, Daimler, JBM, Force Motors, EKA Mobility, Switch Mobility, Sun Mobility, PMI Electro Mobility, Synaty, redBus, AbhiBus, Suzuki, Renault, MG Group, JTAC, Zylog, ZF, Axalta, HPCL, Think Gas, Repose, Spheros Motherson, JSW Greentech, Vertelo and Eberspacher, along with several other companies representing every segment of the passenger transport value chain.

Visitors are experiencing a wide range of buses, electric mobility solutions, intelligent transport systems, connected vehicle technologies, digital platforms, fleet management solutions, charging infrastructure, alternative fuel technologies and advanced components. Several exhibitors are also unveiling their latest vehicles, products and mobility solutions, reflecting the industry’s continued focus on cleaner mobility, digital transformation, operational efficiency and enhanced passenger experiences.
Over the next three days, Prawaas 5.0 is expected to welcome thousands of bus and car operators from across India, along with fleet owners, State Transport Undertakings (STUs), policymakers, financiers, technology providers and other industry stakeholders, making it one of the country’s largest business platforms for the passenger transport sector.
This year’s edition also celebrates BOCI’s decade-long journey as the unified voice of India’s bus and car operators. Over the past 10 years, the Confederation has worked closely with governments and industry stakeholders to advocate progressive policy reforms, strengthen the passenger transport industry, and promote safe, efficient and sustainable mobility across the country.
The exhibition will also witness the participation of senior Ministers from the Central and various State Governments, policymakers and industry leaders over the next three days, further reinforcing Prawaas’ growing importance as a national platform for dialogue, innovation and collaboration in the passenger transport sector.
Prawaas 5.0 will continue until July 11, 2026, featuring product launches, conferences, business meetings and networking opportunities that bring together every stakeholder in the passenger transport ecosystem.
