Pacoline Industries, known for its flagship product – mirror assembly – is now poised to make its way into LED lighting.
ExpertSpeak – Mr. O.P. Tomar, Head – Projects, Pacoline Industries, observes: “We supply to all OEMs in CE and automotive segments, including trucks, cars, and buses.”
Product Highlight – Pacoline’s new venture is a range of LED lighting for construction equipment and commercial vehicles that can offer wattage as low as three watts at a cost that is economical with increased battery back-up and low maintenance cost. “We are giving 50,000 hours of life with these LEDs,” he says.
USP – In-house R&D is Pacoline’s strength when it comes to LED lighting systems. The company is planning a joint venture for technology sharing in mirrors that will cater to tractor, car and bus segments.
Roadmap Ahead – Mr. Tomar adds: “Future now is about going from tail lights to head lights. Currently we are offering tail lights, side markers and side indicators. We are looking at technical partnership for manufacturing head lights probably with a European company.”
Pacoline Industries is surging ahead in the CE and automotive segment with its products, targeting a turnover of Rs. 130 crores in the next financial year, up by almost 30 per cent from the last year.
