Dr. Pawan Goenka, Executive Director, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., was appointed Honorary Ambassador of Foreign Investment Promotion for Korea at a special ceremony in Mumbai attended by several senior dignitaries and officials.
As Honorary Ambassador, Dr. Goenka will promote economic ties between India and Korea and advise corporate India on potential investment opportunities in South Korea.
Dr. Goenka represented Mahindra as well as the South Korean auto company, SsangYong Motor Co. Ltd., where he is the Chairman of the Board. The Korea-India CEO Forum was co-hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency and the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea.
