Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., India’s leading manufacturer of utility vehicles and a leader in the LCV < 3.5 t segment, today announced the launch of the New Veero 1.1 XXL CNG and the Upgraded Veero Diesel.

First launched in September 2024, the Veero has been a testament to innovation and reliability in the LCV < 3.5 t segment. Combining best-in-class mileage, exceptional performance, and advanced safety features, it also marked the debut of Mahindra’s Urban Prosper Platform (UPP), India’s first ground-up, multi-energy modular CV platform.
Veero 1.1 XXL CNG
The New Veero 1.1 XXL CNG is specifically designed for intra-city applications. It combines a 1.1 t payload with a best-in-class 2900 mm (9.5 feet) cargo deck, allowing for higher-volume loads while maintaining a compact footprint. Additionally, its turning radius of 5.1 m enables easier maneuverability through congested streets, tight loading and unloading locations. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine that produces 48.5 kW of power and 98 Nm of torque.

With an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 21.4 km/kg and a combined Petrol + CNG driving range of over 450 km, the New Veero 1.1 XXL CNG is engineered to deliver an extended operating range and minimised idle periods. The vehicle is targeted at applications such as FMCG distribution, fruit and vegetable transportation, e-commerce deliveries, parcel and courier movement, market loads, and other intra-city logistics requirements.
Upgraded Veero Diesel
With the ‘Soch Se Aage’ philosophy, Veero offers first-in-segment features like touchscreen, power windows, driver airbag, and reverse parking camera. Additionally, with this launch, Mahindra introduces new first-in-segment enhancements such as a new 26.03 cm touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice command with multiple language options. The vehicle also features cruise control that enhances comfort for long-distance driving. Adding another layer of convenience, the vehicle now comes with LNT technology.

The vehicle also offers numerous comfort features, including a heater with AC, reclining driver’s seat with an adjustable headrest, flat-fold seats for sleep provision, door armrest, and D+2 seating arrangement. Connectivity with iMAXX is further elevated with the introduction of remote AC control in addition to 50+ features, including Vehicle tracking, Geo Fencing, Route Planning, Vehicle Health Tracking and Fuel Tracking. Additionally, power windows and fast-charging ports will be standard across all variants.

Customer availability of New Veero 1.1 XXL CNG is planned from September 20, 2026*, while the Upgraded Veero Diesel will be available from September 8, 2026.
