L&T Construction wins orders worth Rs. 1,725 crores

The construction arm of L&T has recently won orders worth Rs. 1,725 crores across two of its business segments.

The Transportation Infrastructure Business has bagged orders worth Rs. 725 crores. An engineering, procurement and construction order has been secured from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MORTH) for 4 laning of the Wadpale to Bhogaon Khurd section of NH-17 in Maharashtra. The scope of work includes construction of 38.76 km of four lane dual carriage way with concrete pavement, 27.53 km of service / slip road, 2 major bridges, 9 minor bridges and 17 vehicular and cattle underpasses along with other associated works.

The business has also received additional orders from various ongoing projects.

The Heavy Civil Infrastructure Business has received engineering, procurement and construction orders worth Rs. 1,000 crores under L&T GeoStructure.
