At the Council Meeting held immediately after the 52nd AGM on September 23, 2016 at Kochi, Mr. John K. Paul was unanimously elected as the President of Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) for 2016-17. Mr. John Paul is the first automobile dealer from Kerala to have been elected as President of FADA since its inception in 1964.
Managing one of the largest groups engaged in retail automobile trade in India, Mr. John Paul is the Managing Director of Popular Vehicles and Services Ltd., Popular Mega Motors (India) Ltd., and Director of Popular Kuttukaran Cars Private Ltd., Popular Auto Dealers Pvt. Ltd., Popular Auto Spares Pvt. Ltd., and Popular Autoworks Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. John Paul is, currently, also the President of Kerala Automobile Dealers Association.
At the same meeting, Mr. Ashish Kale, Managing Director of Provincial Automobile Co. Pvt. Ltd., a reputed dealership of Mahindra & Mahindra based in Nagpur, Mr. Vinkesh Gulati, Managing Partner of United Automobiles, one of the largest selling Bajaj 2W dealerships in India and also deals in Mahindra Automotive, and Mr. Saurabh Kedia, Director of Kedia Group with primary interests in Automotive Retailing and FMCG distribution with brands like Mahindra & Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Honda Cars India Ltd., Case Construction & ITC Ltd., were elected as Vice President, Hony Secretary and Hony Treasurer, respectively, for 2016-17.
