JCB India opens new dealership facility in Ranchi to serve 15 Jharkhand districts

JCB India has inaugurated a new dealership facility in Ranchi, operated by Premsons Motor Udyog Pvt. Ltd., to strengthen its presence in Jharkhand. The facility will give customers in Ranchi and across the State access to JCB’s full product range, backed by sales, service and parts support.

The facility covers 18,000 sq ft, has a four-bay workshop and is staffed by about 230 professionals. It will be the dealership’s headquarters, overseeing operations across 15 districts of Jharkhand. These are Ranchi, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Palamu, Latehar, Garhwa, Koderma, Hazaribagh, Chatra, Ramgarh, Gumla, Simdega, Khunti and Lohardaga.

Built to JCB’s global corporate identity standards, the facility houses a fully operational LiveLink Command Centre. This is JCB’s telematics platform, which gives real-time information on machine performance, service needs, utilisation and security, and supports fleet management round the clock. It also has a rainwater harvesting system.

Mr. Deepak Shetty, CEO and Managing Director of JCB India, said Jharkhand is playing a growing role in India’s infrastructure, mining and industrial growth, which creates opportunities for the construction equipment sector. He called the investment a long-term commitment to the State and praised Premsons Motor Udyog as a family-owned business that has grown alongside JCB.
