Jaya Hind Industries to Invest ₹600 Crore in Manufacturing Expansion Over Two Years

Jaya Hind Industries Pvt. Ltd. (JHI), a fully vertically integrated company and a leading global supplier of precision aluminium die-cast components, today announced a phased investment of ₹600 crore over the next two years to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and capacity across High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) and Gravity Die Casting (GDC).

The announcement builds on an earlier commitment of ₹200 crore towards the Chennai facility expansion, with the company now undertaking an additional investment of ₹400 crore, bringing the total planned investment to ₹600 crore.

The investment will be deployed in a phased manner over two years, spanning FY2026-27 to FY2027-28, across JHI’s key manufacturing locations, including Akurdi and Urse in Pune, and Chennai. The expansion includes the establishment of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chennai, the installation of more than 12 new High Pressure Die Casting machines ranging from 1,200 tonnes to 3,500 tonnes, a significant enhancement of precision machining capabilities, and the expansion of critical in-house processes such as heat treatment, impregnation, and powder coating, alongside a broader strengthening of plant infrastructure.

A dedicated powder coating facility will further enhance JHI’s ability to deliver fully integrated, value-added manufacturing solutions, offering high-quality surface finishing, improved corrosion resistance, superior product durability, and greater process control, all under one roof.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Prasan Firodia, Managing Director, Jaya Hind Industries, said the company has always believed in investing ahead of customer requirements. As demand for larger and more complex aluminium castings continues to grow, he said, JHI is strengthening its manufacturing capabilities to deliver greater scale, precision, and reliability. He added that the investment will enhance the company’s ability to support customers’ future programmes while continuing to build globally competitive manufacturing capabilities from India, in line with the government’s “Make in India” vision.
