Ltd., a Dr. Abhay Firodia Group company, which has had a successful 12-year-long technical tie-up with KS Huayu Alutech GmbH (KSATAG) announced that it has extended its agreement for the manufacture of automotive cylinder blocks and cylinder heads till 2027. The scope of the agreement has also been expanded to cover new parts from sunrise industries such as electric vehicles, structural parts for chassis, etc.

KS HUAYU AluTech belongs to the renowned automotive supplier KSPG with operations in Germany and China. It has also been active in the Indian market for many years. Since 2007, KSPG has had a subsidiary Pierburg India Private Ltd. in Takwe near Pune that produces bearings, pumps and components for emission control for the Indian automotive industry. A second production unit for bearings is in Supa, Ahmednagar (Maharashtra). The Group has also held a 20-per cent stake in the Indian piston manufacturer Shriram Pistons and Rings.
