JAC MOTORS Drives Decarbonization of Transport at Hannover IAA Transportation 2024

Today, at the Hannover IAA Transportation, one of the world’s most significant trade fairs for transport and logistics, JAC MOTORS unveiled its new range of electric commercial vehicles. This launch marks a milestone for the Chinese company in its European expansion, reaffirming its commitment to transport decarbonization and sustainable mobility.

With 60 years of experience in vehicle manufacturing, JAC MOTORS has established itself as an international benchmark in the industrial segment. The company operates 27 factories and R&D centers worldwide and has achieved a notable presence in Europe. It was the first Chinese brand to introduce electric trucks in France and has expanded its reach to key markets such as Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, and Italy. In Spain, JAC MOTORS leads the zero-emission industrial vehicle sector, capturing a 24% market share thanks to its distributor Oliva Motor.

Commitment to Transport Decarbonization

Additionally, the company highlighted that the trucks are economically more competitive than their thermal engine equivalents. Fuel savings reach up to 600 euros per month, and maintenance costs are reduced by 50%. Key features include:

These light trucks offer ranges of up to 220 km and are equipped with advanced driver assistance systems such as emergency braking and lane departure warning, complying with the strict new European regulation GSR II. Additionally, their compact electric system allows for acceleration from 0 to 50km/h in just 7 seconds, while the high-density CATL monoblock battery ensures reliability and safety.
