
Inteva Products LLC, a leading U.S.-based global supplier of automotive systems and components, has announced a major scale-up of its India footprint with the establishment of a second manufacturing facility in Pune. The expansion is complemented by the introduction of next-generation technologies designed specifically for the rapidly evolving Indian mobility ecosystem.
With more than 17 years of service to global and domestic OEMs, Inteva reiterated its long-term commitment to India’s automotive sector – a commitment anchored in sustainable growth, employment creation, and the advancement of future-ready mobility solutions.
Expanding Manufacturing Capacity and Employment Generation
Inteva’s existing Pune plant and its technical centre in Bengaluru continue to operate as strategic pillars in the company’s global value chain. The upcoming second facility represents a substantial capacity augmentation, enabling higher production volumes and deeper integration with India’s supply ecosystem.
Backed by an investment of Rs. 50 crore, the new Pune plant is expected to create over 400 jobs, reinforcing the company’s contribution to the nation’s automotive manufacturing landscape and local community development.

As part of its strategic expansion, Inteva unveiled a portfolio of advanced products engineered for leading Indian automotive manufacturers. These include:
- Frameless window regulators
- Power folding actuators and glass actuators
- SLIM (Small Light Inteva Motor) for window regulators
- E-Latch, frunk latch, and power tailgate systems
These technologies are designed to elevate vehicle safety, reduce weight, support electrification, and accelerate India’s transition to future mobility.
Strengthening Technical Expertise in Bengaluru
Inteva’s India Technical Centre in Bengaluru remains a global hub for product design, validation and simulation, and business support. With a talent pool of over 320 professionals – including more than 180 engineers – the centre reinforces the organisation’s reputation for engineering excellence, robust execution, and customer-centric innovation.
Driving Sustainability and Responsible Manufacturing
The company’s Pune facility now features a 335-kW solar power installation comprising more than 1,000 solar panels, significantly reducing carbon emissions. This initiative advances Inteva’s global sustainability agenda, which includes renewable energy deployment, material innovation, and responsible resource consumption. The company is also driving material circularity through research into repurposed industrial resins and actively participates in customer-led Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) assessments.
