The Hydraulic Trailer Owners Association (HTOA), the only national body representing modular hydraulic trailer owners serving the transport industry in the movement of Over-Dimensional and Overweight Consignments (ODC/OWC), conducted its 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Mumbai.

The meeting was held at the MCA Recreation Club and witnessed the presence of a majority of HTOA members from across the country.
The session was chaired by Mr. Sameer Parikh, Chairman, and conducted by Mr. Nilesh Sinha, General Secretary, with active participation from Mr. Nitin Singhal – Treasurer, Mr. Zarksis Parabia, Mr. Rajesh Gupta, Mr. Manish Kataria, Mr. H.S. Acharya, Mr. Bharat Gandhi, Mr. Nailesh Gandhi, Mr. Sarabjit Singh, Mr. Roshan Lal Bhalothia, Mr. Pawan Jain and Mr. Shrenik Kataria as board members. Regional convenors including Mr. Pritesh Gandhi, Mr. Archit Agarwal, Mr. Ankit Bamal and Mr. Satvinder Singh, along with Mr. Gopinath Thube – CAO, Mrs. Pranjal Sawant and Mr. Dhaval Modi, also participated.

Mr. Nilesh Sinha delivered a detailed presentation on strengthening the association through restructuring, governance, financial management and a membership drive. Mr. Nailesh Gandhi emphasised safety as a habit, highlighting the importance of safety and regulatory compliance. Mr. Manish Kataria briefed members on the current and future ODC/OWC transportation scenario in India, while also outlining the board’s policy advocacy and engagement with MoRTH, the Ministry of Railways and various state road transport and regulatory authorities. Mr. H.S. Acharya highlighted the training and skill development programmes conducted for members and staff. Regional activities were presented by Mr. Archit Agrawal, Mr. Pritesh Gandhi and Mr. Satvinder Singh.
Members actively debated the challenges faced in ODC/OWC transportation across the country. The managing committee addressed queries and guided members on issue resolution.
Mr. Tarachandani, Election Officer, announced the new managing committee for 2025–26, which was elected unopposed.
The new managing committee of 11 members comprises Mr. Zarksis Parabia as Chairman, Mr. Nilesh Sinha as Vice Chairman, Mr. Pawan Jain as General Secretary, Mr. Roshanlal Bhalothia as Joint Secretary and Mr. Shrenik Kataria as Treasurer. Other committee members include Mr. Bharat Gandhi, Mr. H.S. Acharya, Mr. Manish Kataria, Mr. Nailesh Gandhi, Mr. Akshay Gupta and Mr. Archit Agrawal.
The event also featured a presentation by Mr. Vivek Burhanpurkar on the TATA PRIMA 5532.S HRT Puller Tractor, a new product from TATA Motors. Key representatives from TATA Motors, TII India, VMT, Volvo India, Tratec Engineers and Scania, along with hundreds of leading ODC transporters, attended the AGM.
The gathering was graced by industry veterans including Mr. Mahabir Gupta – President, BGTA, and Mr. Abhisekh Gupta – General Secretary, AITWA, along with other leaders from the heavy-lift and logistics sector.
