As automotive and industrial powertrains evolve towards higher efficiency, lower emissions and electrification, vibration control is becoming an increasingly critical element of vehicle and equipment performance. The growing adoption of hybrid technologies, higher power density engines and electric drivetrains is creating new engineering challenges, driving demand for advanced vibration management solutions across mobility and industrial applications.

Stricter emission regulations, downsized engines, hybridization and electrification are changing vibration characteristics, requiring new approaches to Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) management. At the same time, advanced manufacturing technologies such as electron beam welding as well as laser beam welding, process automation and Industry 4.0 are enabling higher precision and improved product quality.

Mr. Khanvilkar said Hodek Group’s long-term strategy is to strengthen its leadership in torsional vibration dampers while expanding into complementary product segments including anti-vibration mounts, vibration isolators, dual mass dampers, torsional couplings and specialized vehicle trim component like patented Sunvisor. This diversification will help the company address opportunities across internal combustion engines, hybrid vehicles, electric mobility and industrial equipment.

The company’s product roadmap focuses on developing lighter, more compact and thermally resilient torsional dampers capable of meeting the demands of modern hybrid powertrains and high-pressure combustion engines. Simultaneously, Hodek Group is advancing anti-vibration solutions designed specifically for electric drivetrains, generators and industrial machinery using advanced materials and simulation-driven engineering.

Looking ahead to 2030, Mr. Khanvilkar said Hodek Group aims to significantly expand revenue from non-powertrain product lines while continuing to improve product performance, shorten development cycles and deliver measurable reductions in NVH across customer platforms, reinforcing its position as a comprehensive vibration-control solutions provider.
