New technologies, product lines and professional workshop equipment are HELLA’s focus at the trade fair

At the Automechanika in Frankfurt am Main held between 13th to 17th September 2016, the lighting and electronics

specialist will be exhibiting numerous innovations at Stand D91 in Hall 3.0 and at Stand A88 in Hall 9.0. At the main stand in Hall 3.0 the supplier will be showing its original equipment and technological expertise. HELLA is presenting new lighting technology with the Matrix HD84 light system. A major highlight is the camera-based headlight setting, the SEG V, which is now going into production. The

company is also proving its electronics expertise demonstrating its new product lines such as the intelligent battery sensors (IBS), vacuum pumps, pedal sensors and oil-level sensors. HELLA also highlights the fact that a “remanufactured”, or re-processed component, is often worthwhile, with examples of its starters and generators in a before-and-after comparison.

The joint ventures, Behr Hella Service and Hella Pagid, are also presenting new products and product extensions at

the trade fair. Behr Hella Service, for example, exhibits a cross-section of its air conditioning and cooling ranges and demonstrates its system expertise with an interactive climatic cycle circuit. As a further highlight the thermal management expert presents water pumps for commercial vehicles as well as electric controls for mixing valves in cars. The brake system specialist Hella Pagid presents its brake components and accessories for the worldwide automotive spare parts market.

Services and diagnostic solutions for workshops

HELLA not only offers its clients a comprehensive product range of 45,000 parts but also supports workshops through the entire repair process in order to make them quicker and more profitable. This is especially challenging in a scenario where electrification in vehicles is rapidly increasing. It makes a car not only safer and more comfortable, but also more complex for repairs and maintenance. Hence HELLA offers professional diagnostics devices for vehicle acceptance and fault identification, along with a technical hotline which can further help for any product fitting and system-specific questions. The company’s workshop clients are guaranteed to be mobile again more quickly, thanks to high product quality and the transfer of know-how.

At HELLA’s stand A88 at Hall 9.0, visitors can take a look at the challenges and solutions of the future using an

interactive touchscreen. With the help of live demos and videos, it gives an insight into the world of diagnostic tools and training offerings from Hella Gutmann Solutions. “We expect positive results from the new location right at the west entrance of the hall,” says Uwe Neff, head of sales and marketing. “The new location makes Hella Gutmann particularly easy to access for workshops, trading partners and partners from the industry – just like in real life.”

HELLA’s slogan for the trade fair is “The Workshop of Tomorrow is the Focus of Our Thoughts and Actions”. Trade fair visitors from the industry can look forward to exciting ideas and sophisticated solutions to meet the challenges of tomorrow. These include innovative PassThru solutions with added value exclusively for Hella Gutmann customers and the CSC-Tool which is now a veritable all-round solution for camera and radar calibration. Two new brake maintenance tools are also being presented. The camera-based headlight setting, the SEG- V, is currently under production. HELLA’s visitors can test the products for themselves at the “Mechanic Games”, held at the show on the 16th and 17th of September.

However, Hella Gutmann Solutions has much more at their stall than the mega macs diagnostic tools – HG4 exhaust tool, SEG beam setters, HUSKY air conditioning service stations, BPC-Tool, CSC-Tool, SLD-Tool, TPM-Tool and hand lamps. There will be exciting videos and live demonstrations that provide insight into the world of data, vehicle diagnosis, special tools, spare parts, training, and more.

“The new stand is designed to intuitively guide visitors – whether they are workshop managers, technicians or partners from trade and industry – to the right station and the right contact persons,” assert Hella Gutmann planners. “The name Hella Gutmann Solution stands for practical solutions, and this is what we want our visitors to take home.”
