“Automation, connectivity and demand-driven mobility concepts with alternative drives will have long-term influence on the vehicle landscape and create new requirements for the future, with regard to driving behavior and NVH. Because of our extensive experience, we are in a position to assist our clients with the development of individual vehicle concepts, from the initial idea through series production,” explained Prof. Stefan Pischinger, President and CEO of FEV.

“With the integration of Imperia into the FEV Group, we are not only expanding our portfolio with innovative products, but we are also gaining important new employees with specific engineering know-how.”

Michael Hog joins FEV

Meanwhile, Michael Hog has been named VP of the global vehicle business unit at FEV alongside Klaus Wolff, who continues to head up the European vehicle business unit. Prior to accepting the role at FEV, Hog worked in a senior position in the field of vehicle integration at another reputable engineering company.

“With Michael Hog, we have placed the global strategic management of our vehicle business unit in the hands of an experienced and extremely well-connected leader with significant vehicle and project experience,” commented Prof. Stefan Pischinger, President and CEO of the FEV Group.

“Filling this position will add strategic expertise to the company that will allow us, on a global scale, to better meet the growing demand for comprehensive development services ranging from vehicle integration to full vehicle development.”

Hog said: “I consider my core task to be the strengthening of the global footprint and the expansion of the vehicle business unit. The existing expertise in full vehicle development and powertrains provides an ideal basis for the development of integrated solutions.”
