Mr. Mohan Himatsingka and Mr. K V S Prakash Rao were elected President and Vice President respectively of the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) for 2012-13 at its 48th AGM held on October 5.
Mr. John K Paul is the new Hony Secretary and Mr. Mukesh Jain Hony. Treasurer.
Mr. Himatsingka is the Managing Director of Maurya Motors Ltd., as also of Shankar Motors Pvt. Ltd., both based in Patna.
Having been a member of the FADA Council for a number of years, he has held various offices in FADA, including the office of Hony. Treasurer in the past. He was the Vice President of FADA during 2010-11 and 2011-12.
Mr. Prakash Rao, a Post-Graduate in Business Management with specialisation in Marketing, is the Managing Director of Garapati Autoventures Pvt. Ltd. and Managing Partner of Garapati Garage, located in Vijayawada.
He is also the Managing Partner of Ramcor, a dealership of Piaggio, Eicher and New Holland Tractors.
He has been actively associated with FADA for the last six-seven years and was its Hony. Secretary in 2010-11 and 2011-12.
Mr. John K. Paul is the Managing Director of Popular Vehicles and Services Ltd., and Popular Mega Motors (India) Ltd., and Director of Popular Kuttukaran Cars Private Ltd., Popular Auto Dealers Private Ltd., Popular Auto Spares Private Ltd., and Popular Autoworks Private Ltd.
Having been a Council member of FADA since July 2010, he is also the President of the Kerala Automobile Dealers Association.
Mr. Mukesh Jain, a Chartered Accountant, is in automobile business as dealer of Bajaj Auto and Hyundai Motor India in Delhi for the last 39 years. He has also vast experience in transportation of vehicles as a fleet operator.
He has been actively involved in the activities of FADA for over two decades.
