In order to better serve the growing market for bus air conditioning in South America, Eberspaecher Suetrak GmbH & Co. KG has intensified its activities in Brazil.
Beginning in July 2016, bus air conditioning systems for the South American market will be manufactured in Sorocaba. Eberspaecher Suetrak will be taking full advantage of the production synergies within the Eberspaecher Group, as production will take place within the existing exhaust technology plant, occupying around 1,500 sq.m of space.
These expanded activities will fall under the responsibility of the new General Manager, Mr. Maycon Largura. The 36-year-old brings with him many years of expertise from the bus sector and has already worked successfully as Sales Manager, South America for Eberspaecher Climate Control Systems in Mexico over the past few years. The goal is, in future, to support newly acquired orders with local production and to build up a sustainable market position in one of the world’s largest markets for buses.
