The company is a leading leaf and coil spring manufacturer and supplies suspension components for 4×4 vehicles across the globe. We caught up with Anush Mohan, Sales Manager, Dobinsons Spring & Suspension, for a quick chat.
Automechanika Dubai Participation
Dobinsons is an Australian company. We operate out of three main regions – Australia, North America and Middle East. We have our branch office at Dubai through which we cater to Middle East, Africa and South Asia. We maintain a good stock of our products to cater to customers in this region. We are happy to be back at Automechanika Dubai which is a very good networking platform to meet existing customers, understand their requirements and also expand our customer base.
Most of our products are manufactured in Australia and have a plant in China as well. We supply to over 76 countries worldwide and are keen on expanding our presence globally. The Middle East is an important region for Dobinsons and since it lies in between the West and the East holds a geographic advantage which we are keen on using.
Indian Market Entry
India is a good market for off-road and 4×4 activities. We have discussed with several dealers in India and they have shown good interest in our products since we offer good warranty and service support for our customers. They have developed good confidence on our brand and products. We need to come up with the required product range which our management is currently working on. We will soon be ready and come to India with our products.
