Next Generation compact after-treatment system for on-road beyond Euro VI

With Dinex HP-DiSiC technology and other Dinex core technologies, we can reduce the current packaging from EU VI down to EU V space envelope reducing weight and size with over 33% thus reducing the cost of the total system for the industry. Advancements found in Dinex’ next generation on-road exhaust system help fulfil Real Driving Emission (RDE) legislation. System thermal mass has been reduced to facilitate quicker heat-up from cold start and thereby faster DeNOx reactions compared to normal EU VI. A compact design using optimized mixing volumes and an SCR coated filter. The tail pipe has been integrated into the box to reduce dust raise and avoid grass burn.

Dinex HP-DiSiC substrate and coating for future F-SCR solutions – Dinex Eminizer® Technology

A patented unique filter substrate technology with SCR functionality (Dinex HP-SiC) with multilayer coating of NOx (SCR) and PM (particulate matter or soot) matter F-SCR (Filter with SCR functionality). This is an SCR on a DPF in one unit reducing substrates in the system and making it easier to manage the optimum temperature for the SCR operations.  Eminizer® refers to the combination of high porosity silicon carbide substrate (DiSiC-HP) and a catalyst coating to provide Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) of Nitrogen oxide. The coated DiSiCHP is used in a combination with metal substrates for Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOCs) and with metal or ceramic based substrates for the Ammonia Slip Catalyst (ASC). Eminizer® enables diesel particle filters (DPFs) with highly loaded SCR catalysts to achieve high mechanical strength, as well as backpressure levels comparable to conventional uncoated DPFs.

Dinex’ solution for Stage V   

Dinex’ next generation off-road exhaust system for diesel engines above 56 kW features a close coupled DOC with front pipe integrated Adblue dosing and mixing to facilitate fast DeNOx reactions. Alternatively, the DOC and mixing unit may be combined with the F-SCR and SCR for a complete one-box solution. The F-SCR is serviceable with low leakage V-clamps.  The entire system is compact because of the optimized mixing volumes and the SCR coated filter. For engine ranges below 56 kW, the after-treatment system will feature a metallic DOC and a catalytic coated DPF based on DiSiC-HP for either active or passive regeneration.

Dinex’ unique in-house technology program makes it to offer the most compact exhaust after-treatment on the market with up to 30% less space required compared to other manufacturers. Dinex offers PTS-CC (Close Coupled catalysts) near to the engine. Pipe Treatment System has been upgraded to include more technologies from the outlet of engine to the ATS (Aftertreatment System) allowing for an ultra-compact design combined with the patented Dinex HP-SiC technology.
