Deutsche Messe expands activities in Russia

Pact signed with Sverdlovsk region

Hannover Fairs International GmbH, a subsidiary of Hannover-based Deutsche Messe, has signed a new agreement with the Russian Sverdlovsk Region. This new co-operation has the goal of promoting trade fair activities in the region, particularly in Yekaterinburg.

The co-operation accord includes organization of new trade fairs as well as further development of the existing exhibitions and conventions in the Sverdlovsk region covering transport; agricultural technology; heating, cooling and ventilation; safety, security and fire protection; health and lifestyle; mining; metallurgy; metalworking; machine tools and mechanical engineering; oil and gas equipment; petrochemicals; water supply and treatment plus waste water disposal; chemicals; environment and bioengineering; tourism; woodworking; information technology; and medicine.

Through its subsidiary OOO Deutsche Messe RUS, Deutsche Messe is already active in the Sverdlovsk region, organizing the LESPROM-Ural show from September 23 to 26 – a show which runs concurrently with EXPOMEBEL Ural at the Yekaterinburg expo grounds – as a joint project with LLC Interregional Exhibition Company-Ural (IEC-Ural).
