The Tamil Nadu Technology Development & Promotion Center of CII is organizing a conference on green technologies for the automotive sector with the theme “Innovative Models for Profitability & Sustainability” in Chennai on August 8.
The conference attempts to bring together collective knowledge and thought leadership for deliberations that can deliver definitive direction for a sustainable environment in the automotive sector by highlighting and projecting the green technologies for the sector. It is a knowledge sharing platform to understand the current and emerging trends in green technologies that can take the automotive industry towards a sustainable level.
The objectives of the conference are to provide a platform for interaction among stakeholders from the automotive, auto component, information & communication technology, electronic industries, etc.; present an opportunity for participants to identify business requirements, technology availability, market for products & products for market, etc.; create awareness among the end-users and consumers on the current green technologies and trends; facilitate the technology requirement and other related needs of the members through national and international networking; forge partnerships for collaborative research and product development with Indian industries; facilitate knowledge flow by working with international organizations through bilateral and multilateral co-operation mechanism; and to explore strategic advantages from their counterparts in the focus areas through partnership, joint venture, investment, technology transfer, etc.
