Mr. Alex Singer, Chief Sales Officer, BIZOL, talks to Motorindia about the company’s plans for India and its further expansion.

BIZOL partners exclusive market distributors offering them personalized sales and marketing support and specially designed products for specific markets, and responding to customers’ needs with a flexible user-innovation model. For the past three years, the lubricant specialist has doubled its revenues year-on-year in international markets.

The company began operations with its special focus on the European market and is now present across the region. It has its strong presence in Africa, South America and Australia and has made a recent entry into the North American region as well. In Asia, BIZOL has succeeded in many countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan and South Korea, as it gears up to tap the huge potential in the Indian market.

BIZOL is currently looking for distributors in the Indian market as part of its plans to expand its network in the Asia-Pacific region. Says Mr. Singer: “We are looking for partners in India because it is such a huge market. We are targeting the premium segment of vehicles where quality makes a big difference to customers. Since Green Oil is a niche product, we will have regular product trainings for our partners.”

BIZOL has brought to the Indian automotive sector a range of products which are best suited for urban traffic conditions. It has already been supplying oils for the industrial sector for quite some time. The company works closely with its customers to understand the challenges they face and provide suitable solutions. “It’s more about providing solutions to customers than just selling products. We will transfer the technology know-how to our partners and make them experts in motor oils so that they could train our customers in future”, he adds.

At the global level, BIZOL offers products for different segments, including passenger cars, buses, trucks and motorcycles within the automotive space, and also for boats, agricultural machinery and industrial applications.

BIZOL ensures very high production quality in manufacturing its products. The company has a user-innovation model by which it carries out R&D operations. The user-innovation model has given it the liberty of operating on a global scale without having a manufacturing facility of its own. The actual manufacturing of products is done at the locations of its partners in Germany, under complete supervision of BIZOL quality engineers and strict adherence to its standards.

By 2025, two billion people or 25 per cent of the global population will live in 600 cities. Every year 65 million people move from the countryside to urban areas. The number of vehicles on the road will double from one to two billion. City traffic will increase, affecting the entire human life style. Many cities in India are now experiencing an expansion in city traffic, with its ill-effects.

Growing urbanization entails increased city traffic. Motors operated in city traffic are 30 per cent more idle, aggravating the rate of motor oil deterioration and therefore increasing the probability of failure with regard to various motor components.

BIZOL Green Oil’s innovative additive package delays the aging process of the oil when the engine is working under idle conditions, thereby extending the engine life. The Green Oil cuts down emissions, increases fuel consumption and reduces engine wear and tear, thus offering huge benefits to customers.
