Atul Auto plans capacity doubling to meet growing demand

MI-Jan-13-small-112_2Atul Auto Ltd., is one of the reputed manufacturers of three-wheelers having its factory in Rajkot, with its deep understanding and knowledge of rural and semi-rural market needs and demand. Since there has been growing demand for the company’s three-wheelers, it is now embarking on a major expansion plan to double production capacity to 48,000 vehicles.

According to Mr. Vijay Kedia, Director, Atul Auto Ltd.: “We have seen a good improvement in performance. The festive season this month has helped in reviving sales. We look forward to seeing a similar performance in the remaining part of the year.”

The company has recorded a sales growth of 31 per cent in November 2012 at 2,997 units as against 2,286 units in November 2011. The company has also seen a rise of 20 per cent in sales during April-November 2012 at 20,748 units against 17,183 units in the same period of 2011.

Atul Auto has recently sent an investment proposal to the Sri Lankan Board and is awaiting approval.
