ANVA Logistics Prioritises Financial Strength, AI and Driver Wellbeing

Building a resilient, technology-led and people-first logistics ecosystem for 2030

India’s logistics industry is entering a defining decade where success will depend on far more than fleet size. According to Ms. Nikita Garodia, Chief Operating Officer, ANVA Logistics, the sector is moving towards consolidation, technology-led operations and a stronger focus on financial resilience and human capital as businesses prepare for the demands of 2030.

Ms. Garodia believes consolidation will accelerate as rising costs of vehicles, financing, insurance, maintenance, tyres, AdBlue, compliance and manpower continue to squeeze margins. Smaller fleet operators will increasingly face challenges unless they develop specialised capabilities or strengthen their financial position. Scale, she shared, will provide advantages in procurement, technology adoption and customer engagement.

She also expects energy diversification to reshape freight movement, with diesel continuing alongside the gradual adoption of electric vehicles, LNG, hydrogen and biofuels based on route economics and infrastructure readiness.

“The logistics leaders of 2030 will be those who combine financial discipline, technology and genuine investment in people,” said Ms. Garodia.

Technology will further transform logistics through AI-powered forecasting, route optimisation, preventive maintenance and data-driven decision-making. However, she emphasised that technology alone is not enough. Companies must also address the growing shortage of skilled drivers by improving working conditions, welfare and long-term career prospects.

Preparing for the future, ANVA Logistics is strengthening its balance sheet, reducing debt and investing in vehicles, technology and operational efficiency. With a fleet of over 250 owned trucks and more than 50 attached vehicles, the company is expanding its scale while evaluating larger-capacity vehicles and alternative fuel technologies through carefully planned pilots.

Ms. Garodia shared that the company is becoming increasingly selective in choosing customers, preferring long-term partnerships built on sustainable freight rates and mutual value creation rather than aggressive price competition.

AI forms another key pillar of ANVA’s strategy. The company has developed in-house AI capabilities and is working towards automating repetitive processes while improving visibility, operational decisions and service responsiveness through comprehensive data management.

People remain central to ANVA’s vision. Dedicated HR engagement, anonymous grievance mechanisms, mental wellbeing initiatives such as EFT tapping and guided meditation, along with accident insurance, education support and medical assistance through the Garodia Charitable Trust, reflect the company’s belief that driver welfare directly influences safety and operational excellence.

“Technology improves logistics, but people sustain it. Investing in drivers and employees is essential for building a safer, stronger and more dependable logistics ecosystem,” Ms. Garodia concluded.

“The logistics leaders of 2030 will be those who combine financial discipline, technology and genuine investment in people.”
