The Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (ICEMA) has announced the appointment of Mr. Anand Sundaresan, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Schwing Stetter India Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Arvind Garg, Vice President – Head – Construction & Mining business of L&T Ltd., as its President & Vice President respectively for two years with effect from July 1, 2015. As part of their new role, they will be responsible for strategic initiatives of the Association to achieve its objectives and act as a catalyst for the construction equipment industry.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Sundaresan said: “ICEMA has been instrumental in promoting the construction equipment industry in India that has led to the progressive growth of the country’s infrastructure. I am honored and privileged to lead this prestigious institution and will ensure that, as its President, my expertise and experience makes significant contribution to the growth of the construction equipment industry in India.”
